Yakutia Boosts Maternity Capital for Larger Families

Yakutia's regional maternity capital, also known as the 'capital one' for families with two or more children, is set to increase. Starting February 1, 2024, the sum will be over 189,000 rubles for children born in 2019, and over 249,000 rubles for those born in 2020. To qualify, Russian citizens must have a second child born in 2019 or later and meet regional residency requirements.

The regional 'capital one' can be used to enhance housing, fund children's education, or buy goods and services for children with disabilities. Applications can be submitted at Multi-Functional Centres (MFC) or online. Free consultations are available by calling 8 (800) 100-0001. The funds are issued to the parent who gave birth or adopted the second child. President Putin's recent law clarifies federal maternity capital conditions. In Yakutia, the regional 'capital one' is indexed annually from February 1.

Starting February 1, 2024, Yakutia's regional 'capital one' will be over 189,000 rubles for children born in 2019 and over 249,000 rubles for those born in 2020. To receive the funds, families must meet specific residency and birthdate requirements. The 'capital one' can be used to improve living conditions, educate children, or support those with disabilities.
