Seth Rollins Targets CM Punk

Prior to Rollins' promo, Jackie Redmond conducted an interview with CM Punk. Punk recounted a young Seth Rollins asking him for free training. Punk compared Rollins to a backup and advised Rollins, who he dubbed “Joe Flacco Rollins,” that “the starter’s back.”

Rollins complained about being ignored by CM Punk. If Rollins is sticking to his babyface persona (which he isn't), he wouldn't be employing terms like "ignored." Rollins sounded like a bitter ex, and a true heel.

Rollins got the crowd to join in by chanting “CM Punk.” They hesitated initially but ultimately went along with it.

Rollins accused Punk of being a fraud and claimed that Punk had failed in everything else. He burned every bridge that could have led him to success and took the money instead. This is when the crowd truly roared for CM Punk. Perfect job by Seth Rollins.

Rollins delivered a particularly hard blow by saying that he achieved something that Punk could never: main-eventing WrestleMania.
