Wiggers Carpentry Boosts Production with CNC Machine, Expands Facilities

Wiggers Carpentry, a renowned local business, has expanded its operations with the acquisition of a computer-controlled CNC machine for material cutting. The company, established in 1962, moved to the A31-Nordhorn-Klausheide-Ost industrial area nearly a decade ago and now employs eight people, including two trainees.

The company specializes in crafting high-quality wooden stairs, parquet floors, and furniture, focusing on individual craftsmanship. With a new CNC machine, Wiggers Carpentry aims to invest significantly in automation, securing options on further commercial areas in Klausheide for potential growth.

The expansion has been accompanied by the company's executive, although their name is not publicly available. The new showroom and enlarged production area, totalling 1,100 square meters of production and storage space and 300 square meters of exhibition space, have been inspected by municipal economic development officer Ingo Niehaus. This expansion is seen as an example of the innovative power and growth of Northhorn's middle class under modern working conditions.
