A Shift & Growth: WEMAG Takes Over Tool Weber
Aschaffenburg, June 2, 2025: From Weber to WEMAG
Last week, Aschaffenburg's iconic Tool Weber bid farewell. In its place, the city plays host to WEMAG - the transformed tool Weber location, boasting a wider range, an array of new brands, and fresh service offerings. "Tool Weber becomes WEMAG," beams Vanessa Weber, the new face behind the company now under WEMAG's wing, eager to expand in Aschaffenburg. The complete transformation is slated for completion by the end of the year.
"It's not a buyout, but a serendipitous partnership between two visionaries," emphasizes Vanessa, partnering with Christopher Schaus, managing director of WEMAG. With WEMAG already established in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Thuringia, this alliance brings exciting new prospects. Besides retaining all Weber employees, the Aschaffenburg location welcomes a multitude of new brands and articles to its inventory. "The advantages are plain for the staff and customers," says Weber. More professionals will join the service team, enriching support and consultations. The product range expands, and the site witnesses additional investments from WEMAG.
New Horizons, Enhanced Experience
The blend of Weber's focus on operating equipment and metal cutting seamlessly complements WEMAG's existing portfolio. Future additions will encompass safety technology, welding tech, and cleaning tech, explains Weber and Schaus. Among these segments, occupational safety will take center stage: workwear, safety shoes, head-to-toe protection gear. Here, WEMAG already reigns supreme and brings its expertise to Aschaffenburg.
"We'll stock safety shoes in various protection classes, catering to industries and crafts. Customers can try them on-site and walk away with their purchase. Moreover, we plan to launch a leading clothing manufacturer's brand store, allowing customers to try apparel directly in the store and customize their items in-house with embroidery, emblems, or logo printing. Swift, personalized deliveries are the mission." Christopher Schaus outlines the new concept. Power tools will also undergo revisions, with test machines available for customers to test and feel the products more intimately, aiding decision-making.
Marco Welke: The New Boss in Town
Marco Welke, formerly of Tool Weber, assumes the helm as the WEMAG Aschaffenburg location's manager. Welke's extensive knowledge of customers and their needs, honed during his tenure as sales manager at Tool Weber, ensures a smooth transition. His expanding team will bolster their presence in the Rhine-Main region and North Bavaria.
A Brilliant Future Awaits
The Tool Weber Academy will continue under Vanessa Weber's guidance as an "innovation laboratory and nurturing ground" for future-oriented and sustainable structures. She also vows to support her foundation, lectures, and other initiatives aimed at organizations and individuals.
Vanessa Weber will assist WEMAG in marketing and sustainable, forward-thinking management until year's end. Furthermore, she unveils her intentions to lead Morpheus Logistics, a pioneering company specializing in automated drone deliveries, with a site planned for Aschaffenburg. "From the toolbox to the idea factory," declares Weber.
