Walmart Announces "Black Friday Deals for Days" Event

Walmart is gearing up for the holiday shopping season with a three-week long "Black Friday Deals for Days" event. The sales extravaganza, scheduled from November 7th to November 25th, will offer deals on a wide range of products including electronics, home goods, toys, and apparel.

Customers can take advantage of the deals on popular brands such as Apple, Dyson, and Lego. The event will kick off with early holiday markdowns this month, focusing on toys, clothing, accessories, home goods, and electronics.

To facilitate shopping during the busy holiday season, Walmart has updated its website and mobile app. The platform now allows customers to view the best deals and have access to real-time pick-up and delivery options.

Walmart+ members will have early access to Black Friday markdowns. Unlike last year, the online deals will be available every Monday in November, giving subscribers an edge in securing the best deals.

The sales event will be followed by a Cyber Monday event on November 28th. In addition to the sales events, Walmart has also launched the Walmart Creator platform. This platform allows content creators to earn commission on product links they share on social media.

While the exact number of employees Walmart plans to hire for the holiday season in 2022 has not been announced, it is expected that the retail giant will hire a significant number of workers to meet the uptick in holiday demand. Last year, Walmart planned to hire 150,000 employees, but this year's figure is expected to be lower at 40,000 employees.

Walmart's holiday sales events and initiatives are part of its strategy to compete with other retailers during the busy holiday shopping season. The company's efforts aim to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience, whether they choose to shop online or in-store.
