St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025 (SPIEF-2025) Unveils Extensive Business Program
A comprehensive business program for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025 has been unveiled, featuring over 150 sessions and various forums. The event will occur in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21.
The central theme of SPIEF-2025 is "Shared Values: The Foundation for Growth in a Multipolar World," underscoring the importance of cultural diversity, equality, and mutual interest as the bedrock for new economic alliances. The world, according to Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of Russia, is undergoing significant transformations, affecting both geopolitics and geo-economics.
SPIEF-2025's business program encompasses a diverse range of topics, spanning global economic trends to the strengthening of humanitarian ties. Simultaneously, the following forums will transpire during the event: the SCO, BRICS, EAEU, SME Forum, Creative Industries Forum, "Pharmaceutical Security" Forum, G20 Business Forum, and the General Assembly of the Organization of Asia and Pacific Information Agencies (OANA).
In 2025, the forum will place a particular emphasis on international cooperation, with 19 business dialogues scheduled to discuss the future of Russia's economic relations with foreign partners. These dialogues concentrate on strengthening trade-economic ties, creating alternative payment systems, and developing new logistics routes with participating countries and regions, such as Russia, Africa, Russia-Brahain, Russia-Brazil, Russia-Vietnam, Russia-EU, Russia-India, Russia-Indonesia, Russia-Iran, Russia-Kazakhstan, Russia-Kyrgyzstan, Russia-China, Russia-Latin America, Russia-Mongolia, Russia-UAE, Russia-Oman, Russia-Thailand, Russia-Uzbekistan, Russia-South Africa, and EAEU-ASEAN.
The forum also plans to engage actively with youth. SPIEF 2025 will host the International Youth Economic Forum "Day of the Future," an event that brings together young leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts from more than 100 countries worldwide.
