Ukraine Unveils RK-360L Long-Range Cruise Missile
Ukraine has unveiled its latest military achievement, the RK-360L, a long-range cruise missile developed by the Ukrainian defense industry with significant input from the Ukrainian State Enterprise Luch Design Bureau. This land variant of the Neptune system has been officially specified and is set to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
The RK-360L, measuring 6 meters in length and 50 centimeters in body diameter, is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. It boasts a range of 1,000 kilometers, a tenfold increase from the original Neptune's 280-kilometer range. This enhanced range, coupled with its ability to strike both land and maritime targets, makes the RK-360L a versatile weapon in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
To facilitate long-range operations over land, the RK-360L incorporates new features such as low-altitude flight and precision strikes on fixed targets without satellite navigation. Its warhead has also been beefed up, from 150 kilograms to 260 kilograms, further enhancing its destructive power in the Russia-Ukraine war.
The RK-360L, a product of Ukrainian innovation and resilience, is a testament to the country's commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities in the Russia-Ukraine war. With its impressive range, versatility, and precision, this new cruise missile is poised to play a significant role in Ukraine's ongoing defense efforts against Russia.
