Ahold Delhaize USA Appoints Jason Wilson as CFO

Jason Wilson, a seasoned retail and finance executive with extensive experience in the grocery industry, has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ahold Delhaize USA, the largest grocery retail group on the U.S. East Coast.

In his new role, Wilson will oversee financial strategy and operations, supporting the company’s omnichannel growth, executing its Growing Together strategy and 2028 commitments, and ensuring robust financial controls.

Wilson's career growth within Ahold Delhaize USA reflects his deep experience and progression inside the organization and the broader grocery sector. He has held various positions, including director of business development, VP of strategy, and VP of finance and business planning. Most recently, he served as the SVP of finance at Food Lion, where he made several successful in-market acquisitions and led all financial activities for the brand.

Under Wilson's leadership, Food Lion recently marked 50 consecutive quarters of positive comparable-store sales, a significant achievement in the competitive grocery industry. His contributions to the company were recognised when Food Lion was named among the 10 Most Sustainable Grocers of 2025 and one of PG's Retailers of the Century.

Wilson earned his bachelor's degree in arts from Catawba College and an MBA from Pfeiffer University. He is based in Salisbury, N.C.

Ahold Delhaize is one of the world's largest food retail groups, serving 63 million customers each week across the United States, Europe, and Indonesia. The Ahold Delhaize USA division, which includes brands like Food Lion, The Giant Co., Giant Food, Hannaford, and Stop & Shop, is ranked No. 11 on Progressive Grocer’s 2025 list of the top food and consumables retailers in North America.

In addition to Wilson's appointment, Ahold Delhaize USA has also announced new leadership roles for Ann Dozier, Tim Bork, Krajnovic, and Nicks. Dozier will take on the role of CIO, leading technology initiatives for the company’s local brands, while Bork will serve as the Chief Commercial Officer for Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia. Krajnovic and Nicks have been appointed as the Chief Supply Chain Officer and Chief Commercial & Digital Officer for Ahold Delhaize USA, respectively.

These appointments come as Ahold Delhaize USA continues to grow and adapt in a dynamic market environment, focusing on omnichannel expansion and strategic delivery. With Wilson at the helm of financial strategy and operations, the company is well-positioned to meet its commitments and continue its growth trajectory in the coming years.

Wilson, in his new role as CFO of Ahold Delhaize USA, will oversee financial strategy and operations, supporting the company's growth in the retail industry, particularly in the competitive grocery sector, and ensuring robust financial controls within the supply chain.

As part of Ahold Delhaize USA's continued focus on omnichannel expansion and strategic delivery, the appointment of Krajnovic as the Chief Supply Chain Officer will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain operations for various brands under the group.
