In the heart of Manchester City Centre, Bruntwood SciTech has completed a £13 million refurbishment of the historic King's House, transforming it into a state-of-the-art innovation-led workspace.

Located on King Street West in the St Mary's Parsonage district, the refurbished King's House offers 36,000 sq ft of design-led workspace, with a self-contained ground floor suite of 2,789 sq ft providing a home for around 30 people. This suite, along with the other available suites ranging from 1,777 sq ft to 6,115 sq ft, are fully furnished, complete with kitchens, meeting rooms, project spaces, phone booths, breakout areas, and integrated power.

The workspace at King's House is tailored to support innovation-led businesses in Manchester. One of the first businesses to sign up for the refurbished King's House is tech-driven legal finance company Nera Capital. Josh Hancock, associate commercial director at Bruntwood SciTech, describes King's House as a "redefined heritage workspace," offering a future-proof house for the city's next generation of innovators.

Bruntwood SciTech's ongoing £243 million investment programme includes the refurbishment and delivery of innovation-led workspaces at Thread Works, No.3 Circle Square, and the landmark Pall Mall. The scheme was delivered by Bruntwood SciTech, a joint venture between Bruntwood, L&G, and Greater Manchester Pension Fund.

OBI and Knight Frank are the appointed agents for King's House. Bruntwood SciTech will host an open day at King's House on 18th September for existing and prospective customers.

In addition to the workspace, King's House is also home to FUEL Manchester, a flagship event for the city's tech and digital community. The first four speakers for FUEL Manchester 2025 have been unveiled, promising an exciting lineup of industry leaders and innovators.
