Transamerica Names Jason Frain as New Head of Retirement Solutions
Transamerica has appointed Jason Voorhees as the new head of Retirement Solutions. Voorhees will oversee product strategy and development, aiming to enhance long-term outcomes for plan sponsors and participants. He expressed admiration for the Transamerica brand and its recent efforts to improve retirement experiences.
Voorhees brings nearly three decades of experience in retirement and annuity product leadership, most recently serving in senior roles at Brighthouse Financial. He will report to Jamie Ohl, President of Protection Solutions and Savings & Investments at Transamerica. Ohl praised Voorhees' blend of actuarial rigor and commercial instincts, describing him as a proven product leader.
Transamerica, part of the Aegon group, offers life insurance, retirement, and investment solutions. In January, the company announced a rebranding initiative to celebrate its 120th anniversary, including a redesigned logo.
Jason Voorhees' appointment signals Transamerica's commitment to driving better retirement outcomes. With his extensive experience and expertise, Voorhees is well-positioned to lead the Retirement Solutions team and contribute to the company's ongoing success.
