Train station in Ratzeburg temporarily shut due to structural damage from cracks in the wall

Erixx railway company has continued to operate bus services as a replacement for train services in Ratzeburg. However, no alternative train routes have been announced for passengers traveling between Lübeck and Lüneburg during the station closure.
Despite the absence of a direct replacement for the Ratzeburg station, travelers between Lübeck and Lüneburg have alternative transportation options. Regional trains running on routes RB31, RE83, RE3, and RB32, as well as several bus lines such as 5200, 5405, and shuttle services RB31-SEV and RB32-SEV that serve Lüneburg, continue to link Lüneburg with nearby cities.
