Tomskvodokanal Invests 650M Rubles in City's Water, Sewage Infrastructure
Tomskvodokanal has announced a significant investment of nearly 650 million rubles for communal infrastructure development in Tomsk. The project includes several key initiatives aimed at improving water and news systems across the city.
One of the major projects involves the construction of a new two-kilometer water pipeline in the Solyachny microdistrict of Timiryazevskoye. Additionally, the No. 2 sewage pump station will undergo a comprehensive overhaul, including the replacement of equipment and the installation of a gas cleaning system.
This is not the only work in progress. New and old water pipelines are being laid or repaired in various locations, including the Timiryazevskoje district, Bolshoi Podgornaya Street, and the Solyachny microdistrict. Specifically, a two-kilometer section of the water pipeline on Bolshoi Podgornaya Street is being reconstructed.
Looking ahead, Tomskvodokanal plans to participate in the national news, allocating 122 million rubles for infrastructure modernization in 2026. This includes laying water supply networks on six streets in Stepanovka, totaling over 6.5 kilometers. Furthermore, the pressure collector from the No. 30 sewage pump station will be reconstructed at several addresses, totaling two kilometers.
The project also involves the construction of a new specialized building for wastewater recycling at the water intake and the upgrade of the screw pump station with technological and electrical equipment replacement.
These investments and projects by Tomskvodokanal are expected to significantly improve Tomsk's communal infrastructure, enhancing water and news systems' efficiency and reliability. The city's residents are set to benefit from these upgrades, with the national news's participation ensuring long-term improvements.
