Tomskvodokanal Invests $18.5M in Infrastructure Upgrades
Tomskvodokanal, the water utility company in Tomsk, Russia, has announced a significant investment in its infrastructure. The company will build a new building for its recirculating water system, equipped with modern equipment and valves. Additionally, it will invest an extra 122 million rubles in projects under the federal 'Modernization of communal infrastructure' initiative. By 2026, the company plans to allocate nearly 650 million rubles for water supply and wastewater facility construction and reconstruction.
The infrastructure upgrade includes a two-kilometer-long water pipeline construction in the Solnechnoye microdistrict of Timiryazevskoye village. A similar-length section of the water main will be reconstructed on Bolshaya Podgornaya Street. At the screw station, technological and electrical equipment will be updated, while at CSO No2, pipelines, pumps, automation, electrical equipment, and air gas cleaning will be replaced. Water networks will be constructed on six streets in Stepanovka, totaling over 6.5 kilometers. The pressure collector from CSO No30 will be replaced along several streets in Tomsk. Furthermore, gas boilers will be installed at the GNS and NCSK-2 as part of an energy efficiency program.
