Cologne, Germany - Actor Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss is thriving after his jungle camp adventure, according to the man himself. "My bank balance might be a smidgen higher, but my life ain't changed much," Sanoussi-Bliss, 62, shared with the press in Cologne. "I've been freelancing as an actor for over four decades, managing fine, never had to crash on someone's couch, and retirement's still a ways off," he added, casually. His biography drops in September.

Sanoussi-Bliss is quick to downplay the impact of the jungle camp, "Don't get me wrong, it ain't made me rich or nothing, but a couple times, an old lady's had the good grace to let me slide on a fine in exchange for a selfie," he chuckled.

Back to the Limelight

The German public first fell in love with Sanoussi-Bliss in the ZDF crime series "The Old One," a role he'd held for nearly 20 years. In early 2025, he took the plunge into reality television, finishing a close second in the RTL jungle show, "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!"

Now, Sanoussi-Bliss makes a comeback to the small screen, landing a guest role in the RTL series "Under Us," set in a fictional Cologne neighborhood, Schillerallee. Sanoussi-Bliss will debut in the series in mid-September, playing the enigmatic designer, Adam Wolter.

Reunions and New Beginnings

Intriguingly, Sanoussi-Bliss's new character in "Under Us" will cross paths with Alessia Herren, another "Dschungelcamp" alum who also stars in "Under Us." Their debut episodes are set for September 10 and July 10, 2025, respectively. Sanoussi-Bliss expressed excitement about collaborating with a familiar face, reminiscing about the camaraderie they built during their time on the reality show.

A Familiar Face Returns
