The fair attendees not only got to see our offers but also received professional consultations from us, helping potential employees determine promising career development directions. In total, over 100 job seekers approached us, 10 of whom we invited for further interviews, and we will also consider the other applications."

Since 2018, ALROSA and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Employment Committee have been collaborating within the framework of the 'Local Talent for Industry' project, initiated in 2017 to tackle employment issues for Yakutia's residents and concluded in 2024.

After the completion of the 'Local Talent for Industry' project, a massive project 'Working Yakutia. Staff' was launched to continue productive work on preparing and attracting qualified personnel.

ALROSA, one of the largest employers in the republic, actively participates in the new project. At the forum's fields, ALROSA company, the Ministry of Industry and Geology of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and the State Committee for Employment of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) signed a tripartite agreement on mutual cooperation in implementing the "Working Yakutia. Staff" project.
"The uniqueness of the 'Working Yakutia. Staff' project lies in its individual approach to each participating employer. Companies will be assigned a personnel consultant who will work on forming and jointly implementing an individual plan to meet the enterprise's personnel needs, with a set of services, facilities, and events including training qualified specialists from the local population according to the diamond company's requests.
We are confident that our further cooperation with ALROSA will create even more opportunities for the prosperity of our native republic and the well-being of Yakutians", said Svetlana Gorushinskaya, Chairperson of the State Committee for Employment of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
According to Yakutia's Minister of Industry and Geology Maxim Terechenko, the agreement is primarily aimed at improving the quality of life for Yakutians.
"Today, over 100,000 people work in the republic's industrial enterprises. And ALROSA's participation in the new 'Working Yakutia. Staff' project will help Yakutians find not just jobs but also their callings, a career that will bring many opportunities and prospects for the diamond industry", emphasized Maxim Terechenko.
The "Working Yakutia. Staff" project involves creating a mechanism for social partnership between employers, educational institutions, and government bodies in the field of personnel support for the republic's economy. The project aims to meet personnel needs and attract labor resources, with a focus on an individual approach for each enterprise.
"The project envisions new job openings, internships, training, and targeted work with enterprises. This year, it is planned to attract 3,000 specialists from the local population. All this is to ensure that every individual can find their passion, undergo training, and realize their potential right here in Yakutia. Industrial development starts with people. Together, we are creating Yakutia - a place of opportunities for work, growth, and the future," - said the Head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev earlier.
The project will also include proven and effective initiatives aimed at supporting employment, such as the "ALROSA-Class" project, collaboration with republican educational institutions, mentorship, training, upskilling, and reskilling programs, recognition of achievements, and career growth opportunities demonstrated by ALROSA over the years.
