Stobart Europe & Suloja Merge for Enhanced Automotive Logistics
Stobart Europe and Suloja have joined forces to enhance services for automotive customers and streamline transport operations across the world news. The merger combines Stobart Europe's extensive automotive logistics network with Suloja's specialist vehicle transport capabilities.
Stobart Europe, a subsidiary of the Culina Group, brings a wealth of experience to the table. In 2021, the Culina Group acquired Stobart Europe, along with other logistics businesses, through the takeover of GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions. This acquisition included companies such as Eddie Stobart, Eddie Stobart Europe, iForce, The Pallet Network, and The Logistics People, but no automotive companies were involved.
Stobart Europe's Stobart Automotive division operates in Belgium, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands, boasting a fleet of 100 car transporters. The division provides storage for over 8,000 vehicles and offers crucial pre-delivery inspection and remarketing services. Meanwhile, Suloja has transported over 35,000 vehicles in 2021 using its specialised fleet of 20 transporters. The company generated a turnover of €6.8m ($7.4m) in the same year.
The merger of Stobart Europe and Suloja is expected to create a more efficient transport network, better serving automotive customers across Europe. Raf Hustinx, CEO of Stobart Europe, sees this acquisition as beneficial for both employees and customers, strengthening Stobart Europe's position in European automotive logistics.
