With a whopping 30 years under his belt in the hotel industry, and a impressive 20 of those spent with Radisson Hotel Group, Atakan brings a rich mix of experience in hotel operations, strategic growth, and jaw-dropping guest service.
This seasoned hotelier has led the charge at Radisson Hotels across various markets, from new openings to extensive renovations. His roster of success stories includes the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ankara, Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi, and Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya Hotel & Conference Centre St Petersburg. Most recently, as the General Manager of Radisson Blu Olympiyskiy Hotel, Moscow since 2023, he managed to catapult the hotel to the top of its competitive market, earning four prestigious awards, including "Best 5-Star Hotel for Meetings and Events" and "Best Room Service".

Atakan embarked on his hotel career in 1992 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul after graduating from Boğaziçi University's Department of Tourism and Hotel Management. Over the years, he's been recognized for his achievements in guest satisfaction and revenue management, consistently building teams that crush their performance goals. Away from the hotel, Atakan has a deep passion for photography, capturing life's essence through his lens.
