Ryder Opens New 50,000 Sq.Ft. Logistics Center in El Paso
A new 50,000 sq.ft logistics center has opened in El Paso, Texas, with plans for further improvements and expansions. The facility, offering cross-dock services, storage, and 24/7 yard operations, is strategically located near major transportation hubs.
The center, covering 4,645 sq.m, can accommodate 350 trailers and is equipped with CCTV for security. It is situated fewer than five miles from the US-Mexico border and fewer than 15 miles from the airport, providing easy interstate access in all directions.
Frank Bateman, Ryder's vice-president of supply chain operations, praised the location along a popular truck stopping point. This facilitates both north-south and east-west traffic, making it an ideal spot for logistics news. The new facility is near the Ysleta Port of Entry, a major trade corridor for northbound goods from Mexico. This follows Ryder's expansion in Laredo in February, where they opened a 228,000 sq.ft warehouse and expanded their drayage yard in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
The new logistics center in El Paso, Texas, offers extensive services and is strategically positioned near key transportation links. With plans for further improvements and expansions, it is set to enhance Ryder's supply chain news in the region.
