Berlin, June 13, 2025 | Stepping into a fresh chapter, Dr. Roland Philippi, a seasoned political and administrative powerhouse, has joined forces with Christ & Company, a dynamic consulting powerhouse based in Berlin. Starting July 1, he assumes the esteemed role of Senior Director, taking the reins of the Digital Economy division.
With a career spanning over a decade, Philippi previously served as State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) where he oversaw key areas such as European and international cooperation, general and vocational education, and research for technological sovereignty and innovations. His tenure saw the forging of strategic partnerships in cutting-edge technologies like microelectronics and quantum communication, the crafting of the framework program for technological sovereignty, the drafting of the AI action plan, and the initiation of the future strategy for research and innovation[1].
For Christ & Company, Philippi's arrival marks another significant stride in the ambitious expansion plan spearheaded by the Christ Group.
