Rock Tech Lithium & ArcelorMittal Team Up to Strengthen East Brandenburg Industry

Rock Tech Lithium Inc. and ArcelorMittal have signed a letter of intent, aiming to boost regional cooperation and strengthen industry in East Brandenburg. The agreement focuses on two key areas: securing skilled workers and enhancing quality assurance.

The collaboration, announced by Steffen Luedemann, Managing Director of ArcelorMittal Eisenhüttenstadt GmbH, and Henrik Wende, Managing Director of Rock Tech Guben GmbH, seeks to leverage each company's expertise to increase local industrial value creation and foster innovation.

Potential synergies include networking of services, exchange in recycling and by-product usage, and joint solutions in rail logistics and shunting services at the Guben location. Both companies also aim to work together in securing and qualifying skilled workers, as well as collaborating in laboratory services and quality assurance.

By signing this letter of intent, Rock Tech Lithium and ArcelorMittal demonstrate a commitment to sustainable development and industrial strength in East Brandenburg. The cooperation is expected to enhance the region's attractiveness for both industry and employees, contributing to Europe's battery industry independence and competitiveness.
