Road closure on Gaishof-Schachten bypass.
The district road CHA 4 Furth im Wald-Neuaign will be closed from Gaishof to Schachten for approximately three weeks, starting from Monday, September 1st. This closure is due to ongoing road construction works aimed at improving the road condition and addressing the increasing damage to the asphalt surface.
The road closure, which is approximately 2.575 kilometers long, will affect traffic for the duration of the works. A detour has been set up for motorists, routing them via the state road 2140 Eschlkam-St 2154 Furth im Wald and CHA 4 Daberg.
Despite regular repairs, the damage to the asphalt surface in the area of the planned construction has continued, necessitating this extended closure. Unfortunately, the name of the company or person responsible for the construction measures has not been disclosed.
The road construction works are scheduled to continue until September 15th, at which point the road is expected to reopen. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow additional travel time during this period.
