Rheinisch-Bergisch District Showcases Economic Power at Expo Real 2025
The Rheinisch-Bergisch district is set to showcase its economic prowess at Expo Real, Munich, from October 6 to 8, 2025. Led by RBW's managing director Volker Suermann, the region will highlight transformative projects like the Zanders area in Bergisch Gladbach and the Rhombus site in Wermelskirchen.
The regional stand, a collaboration between RBW and Bergisch Gladbach, will be joined by key figures such as Landrat Stephan Santelmann, Mayor Frank Stein and his successor Marcel Kreutz, along with representatives from local banks and companies. The Zanders area project, a large-scale transformation, will be a focal point. This mixed-use quarter aims to create a vibrant space for living, working, and learning.
The Rhombus site in Wermelskirchen, another innovative project, will also be presented. Both projects are part of REGIONALE 2025, offering innovative solutions for commerce, education, and public uses. Partners at the regional joint stand include VR Bank eG Bergisch Gladbach-Leverkusen, Kreissparkasse Köln, Hahn Group, and Rösrath OSMAB Holding AG.
The Rheinisch-Bergisch district's participation at Expo Real 2025 will highlight the region's commitment to urban renewal and economic growth. The Zanders area and Rhombus site projects are set to attract investment and interest, showcasing the district's potential on a global stage.
