The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as Renault has unveiled the facelifted version of its popular sub-4-metre MPV, the Renault Triber. With a refreshed design, updated equipment, and competitive pricing, the new Triber promises to deliver an enhanced driving experience to its customers.

Design and Exterior

The facelifted Renault Triber boasts a sleeker and more modern look, starting with a slimmer gloss black grille and a new 2D Renault logo. LED lighting elements, including projector headlamps, Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), fog lamps, and LED tail lamps, add a touch of sophistication. The front bumper has been revamped with larger air intakes, and the tail lamp setup is likely to be sleeker and reworked. The vehicle will come with new exterior colour options such as Zanskar Blue, Shadow Grey, and Amber Teracotta. Higher trims will feature blacked-out B and C pillars, chrome accents, roof rails (load capacity ~50 kg), auto-folding ORVMs with turn indicators, and a rear bumper that has been revised.

Interior and Features

Stepping inside, the facelifted Triber offers a new beige and black dual-tone interior with a redesigned dashboard layout. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard, with wireless connectivity available in top trims. A 7-inch semi-digital driver’s display (TFT digital instrument cluster) is featured in the top Emotion variant. The vehicle also offers manual AC with dedicated vents for the second and third rows, a wireless phone charger, push-button start-stop, cruise control, and a six-speaker sound system in the top trims.

Safety features include standard six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, rain-sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, auto headlights with a follow-me-home function, and more. Convenience features include cooled storage, additional 12-volt sockets in the second and third rows, rear seat lighting, rear defogger, rear washer and wiper, and more.

Engine and Transmission

The facelifted Triber will continue with the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 72 PS and 96 Nm torque. The vehicle will offer front-wheel drive configuration, and transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) available only in the top-spec Emotion trim at an additional Rs 52,000. An optional dealer-fitted CNG kit is also available.

Pricing and Variants

The facelifted Renault Triber will be available in four personas/variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. The pricing range is from Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 9.16 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The AMT is only offered on the top Emotion variant as an option with extra cost.

In conclusion, the facelift provides a comprehensive update focusing on design refinement, improved technology and safety features, while maintaining the same powertrain. The new Triber aims to enhance comfort and modern connectivity for the sub-4-metre MPV segment. With the revised pricing, the Triber remains the most budget-friendly MPV available in India.

Cars in the automotive industry are constantly evolving, and the newly renovated Renault Triber showcases this with its significant updates. Not only does it boast a sleeker exterior with modern LED lighting elements and color options, but it also offers an upgraded interior featuring a new dual-tone design, advanced infotainment systems, and a variety of safety and convenience features. The car maintains its competitive pricing within the finance sector, making it an attractive choice for those looking for car-maintenance solutions that incorporate lifestyle requirements within the transportation industry.
