To be more precise, Leidos will be supporting the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division's Fingerprint Analysis Support Team (FAST) Biometric Services program. The contract aims to improve the efficiency of the Next Generation Identification (NGI) system, a biometric platform utilized by the FBI in conjunction with state, local, federal, and tribal authorities. The NGI system includes the Repository for Individuals of Special Concern and Rap Back, which enables authorized users to receive timely notifications of criminal activity.
