Public ballot for potential BVB Arena finalists remains open until July 31st
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) has announced the semi-finalists for the 2025 edition of its flagship program, BVB Arena. The program aims to highlight ambitious Romanian entrepreneurial companies, representing diverse sectors such as IT&C, trade, manufacturing, and food industries.
From an initial pool of 485 valid nominations, 50 semi-finalist companies have been selected. Notably, over 80% of the nominees predominantly represent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Geographically, Bucharest and Ilfov dominate with 38% of nominations.
The BVB Arena 2025 program includes additional events beyond the awards gala, such as Meetup events and a book. A book highlighting the success stories of the finalists is scheduled for a later stage of the program. The public can vote for their favorite semi-finalist company on the BVB Arena platform until July 31.
The remaining 12 finalists will be determined by a Jury panel on August 1. The awards gala for the finalists of BVB Arena 2025 will take place in September, with the aim of celebrating the selected finalists. The program is held under the slogan "We train Romanian capital."
Over the past eight years, BVB Arena has attracted over 1,500 Romanian companies and helped its participants secure close to EUR 270 million in equity financing and bond issuances. The semi-finalist companies include listed companies like AROBS Transilvania Software, Teraplast, Simtel Team, and Visual Fan, as well as popular consumer brands and smaller businesses.
