Proposed Installation of Four Additional MyCiTi Stops in Parklands and Camps Bay

Hey there! The City of Cape Town (CoCT) is aiming to up the public transport game by tossing in four brand-new MyCiTi bus stops in the neighborhoods of Parklands and Camps Bay.

Councillor Rob Quintas, who's keeping an eye on the Urban Mobility Directorate, declared that this genius move is to make the MyCiTi service hella accessible for the everyday commuter like you.

"This idea stemmed from an evaluation of various public pleas to simplify the access to the bussin' service along the present MyCiTi routes." Quintas chuckled.

So, where ya gonna find these sweet stops?

Here's the scoop:

  • On the T03 route, say hello to the new Tryall West (northbound) stop at the crossing of West Coast Road and Tryall Road. And on the other side of the road, wave at your new friend, Tryall West (southbound).
  • In Camps Bay, keep an eye out for Argyle (eastbound) at the crossroads of Argyle Street and Lincoln Road, and later Argyle (westbound) on the opposite side of the road.

Keep in mind, these spots aren't final yet. The City will mull over any insights or opinions from both residents and commuters before making the call, which'll happen on or before 13 May 2025.
