Project Implementations Boost Business Activity and Employment in Auezovsky District: 39 Initiatives Underway

In a bustling vibe, Almaty's working tirelessly to secure jobs for its people. The latest scoop, recently shared at a press conference by Renat Keneev, Deputy Akim of the Auezov district, has Almaty.tv all a-buzz.

"The Big Cheese himself, our Head of State, has ordered the birth of the 'Employment Roadmap' program," Renat declared. This program's a comprehensive plan—loaded with strategies to stir up additional employment opportunities, keeping the unemployment rate at bay. By pushing through infrastructure ventures that cultivate social housing, utilities, and territorial improvement, they aim to make progress.

Under this Employment Roadmap, Akim Bakytzhan Sagintayev's proposed 44 projects stirred up quick action, with an impressive 39 projects already in action. This energized rush has led to the creation of 3,435 new jobs!

Check out some of the projects in action:

  • 9 spiffy parks sprouting up in microdistricts 7, 12, Saïna Street north of Ulughbek Street, Raimbek Avenue, Jandosov Street, near the CES, Jubanov Street, Saryarka Park, and microdistrict 6;
  • Makeovers for 5 seedy spots with a shady past (Dostyk microdistrict, Yasaui Street corner of Shalyapin Street, Saïna - Raimbek T.R., microdistrict 10, Yasaui Street south of Shalyapin Street);
  • 8chaotic patches given a green overhaul (Jandosov - Saïna, Shalyapin - Saïna, Jandosov - Daulenova, Shalyapin - Yasaui, Jandosov - Beregovo, Momyshuly - Jubanov, Saïna - Tole bi, Beregovo - Y. Kim);
  • Transforming the riverbank along the Big Almatinka River and giving the fountain south of the N. Sats Theater a once-over;
  • Completing repairs on noise insulation, with work on the Saïna - Raimbek transport interchange, 10 main street intersections dressed in cobblestones, and the Sairan Lake descent staircase getting a fix with lighting;
  • Renovations on the district Defense Affairs Department and house 14 on Saïna Street, alongside the installation of CCTV cameras in the pedestrian zone of microdistrict 8 and the completion of repairs to the external lighting of the "Tau Samal" residential complex;
  • TLC for 30 kindergartens.

"By the end of November, four more projects are in the pipeline: courtyards, floor lamps, irrigation canals, and through roads," Renat added.

Looking ahead, Almaty's steering towards sectors like e-commerce and tourism for a growth spurt and job creation, as recently discussed[1]. So, stay tuned for further updates on employment initiatives and their timelines!
