Poland's Bentonite Industry Rebounds in 2024, Consumption Hits Record High

In 2024, Poland's bentonite exports plummeted to X tons, a X% drop from the previous year. Despite a peak in production in 2013, the industry struggled to regain momentum until 2024, when production value expanded notably to $X.

Bentonite imports, however, saw a significant rise in 2024, reaching $X. This increase comes despite a relatively flat export trend over the years. Poland imported approximately X tons of bentonite in 2024, a X% increase from the previous year. Overall, bentonite consumption in Poland has enjoyed prominent growth, reaching its maximum level in 2024 and expected to continue growing.

The pace of bentonite production growth in Poland was most rapid in 2016, with an increase of X%. In value terms, bentonite exports fell notably to $X in 2024, with an average annual growth rate of X% from 2012 to 2024. The Polish bentonite market, after four years of decline, has been rising for the past eight years, reaching $X in 2024.

Germany remained the primary destination for Polish bentonite exports in 2024, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Despite the challenges in production and exports, the Polish bentonite market continues to show resilience and growth in consumption.
