Paris Airshow 2023 Breaks Records with Crowds, Innovations
The 55th Paris Airshow, held in June 2023, attracted record-breaking crowds and showcased groundbreaking innovations. With temperatures soaring, so did the number of visitors and aircraft displays, surpassing the 2023 edition.
The event hosted 2,400 exhibitors from 48 nations, setting the stage for over 8,000 business meetings. Among the highlights, MT Aerospace and MTU Aero Engines joined forces to develop a liquid hydrogen fuel system, a significant technological leap.
Hexcel marked its 50-year partnership with Embraer by signing a preferred supplier agreement. The Paris Airshow, as always, proved pivotal for the aerospace industry, fostering innovation and business success.
Northern Ireland's Denroy was honoured with the first-ever Silver Aero Excellence Award. The event welcomed over 300,000 visitors and 400 delegations, with 155 aircraft on display and 173 participating in the flying programme. Deutsche Aircraft and Castrol also made significant strides, unveiling innovations and strategic partnerships.
The 55th Paris Airshow, with its record attendance and technological advancements, has set the bar high for the next event, scheduled for June 14-20, 2027, at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre.
