Pakistan Successfully Tests Fatah-4 Cruise Missile, Boosting Military Reach
Pakistan has successfully tested its latest cruise missile, Fatah-4, further bolstering its military capabilities. The launch was witnessed by top brass, including the Chief of General Staff, General Asim Munir, who is also the new Chief of Army Staff. President Asif Ali Zardari extended his congratulations to all involved.
The Fatah-4, inducted into the newly formed Army Rocket Force Command, is designed for long-range conventional strikes. With a range of 750 kilometres, it significantly extends Pakistan's reach. The missile, launched on Tuesday, is equipped with advanced avionics and navigational aids, allowing it to evade enemy defence systems and strike targets with precision. The successful test is a testament to the skills of Pakistan's scientists and engineers.
The Fatah-4's successful training launch marks a significant addition to Pakistan's military arsenal. It enhances the lethality and survivability of the Pakistan Army's missile systems, further strengthening the country's defence capabilities. The new Army Rocket Force Command will now focus on building and maintaining this long-range strike capability.
