Over 386 million Russian rubles designated for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kuban region

The Krasnodar Krai Administration is actively supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) as part of the National Project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." The region's efforts aim to improve SME access to financing, promote participation in national initiatives, and foster innovation.

One of the key points of Krasnodar Krai's SME support within the project is **Access to Financing**. The region is implementing measures to facilitate SMEs' access to preferential loans and financial services. This includes the microfinancing fund, which has been recapitalized to 4 billion rubles, providing loans for 21 programs with interest rates ranging from 0.1% to 6.5%. For instance, the 'Hotelier' microloan, designed for businesses in the tourism industry, offers an annual interest rate of 3.25%. Additionally, businessmen in Anapa and Temryuksky District can access the 'Special Anapa' microloan with up to 5 million rubles available for up to 36 months at an annual interest rate of 2%.

Krasnodar Krai also encourages **Participation in National Platforms** such as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), where the region promotes domestic entrepreneurship through initiatives like the ‘Buy Russian!’ National Brands Space. These platforms provide SMEs with exposure, networking opportunities, and support for brand development.

The region is also committed to **Sector-Specific Support and Innovation**. Through collaboration with organizations like the Roscongress Foundation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the region supports socially oriented enterprises and innovative small businesses. Programs under the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" commission include development of creative industries and acceleration of new Russian brands, which SMEs in Krasnodar Krai can leverage.

Moreover, businesses in Krasnodar Krai that meet federal criteria benefit from special government support, preferential tax regimes, and simplified administrative procedures, facilitating SME growth and formalization. The region also promotes **Social Entrepreneurship**, demonstrated by events and awards recognizing innovative social projects.

The Krasnodar Krai Administration's news can be found on social media platforms "VKontakte" and "Одноклассники." The Center for Export Support, another key player in the region's SME support, has provided over 1,000 services to businesses. In the first half of the year, 400 microloans totaling approximately 1.2 billion rubles were issued. Since the beginning of the year, the Center for Export Support has supported 462 small and medium-sized businesses.

Kuban authorities plan to maintain all business support measures in 2026, including the operation of the "Innovation Startup Funnel" with 174 projects participating this year. In 2025, 386.5 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for supporting SMEs.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev recently chaired a regional meeting to discuss support for SMEs, reaffirming the region's commitment to fostering a competitive and sustainable SME sector. The Fund for the Development of Innovations also encourages innovative activities and involves entrepreneurs in export activities. The 'My Business' center assists in starting a business and offers various services.

In summary, Krasnodar Krai supports SMEs within the National Project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" by facilitating access to finance, promoting participation in federal initiatives and creative industry development, enabling preferential tax treatment and registration benefits, and fostering social entrepreneurship. These efforts combine to build a more competitive and sustainable SME sector in the region.

Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Krasnodar Krai can access preferential loans and financial services to support their growth and formalization, as part of the Krasnodar Krai Administration's efforts towards Access to Financing. The microfinancing fund, recapitalized to 4 billion rubles, offers loans for 21 programs, with annual interest rates ranging from 0.1% to 6.5%.
