School Gymnazia No.6 in Sochi's Abrikosovaya Street is currently undergoing a significant renovation, as announced by local authorities. The project, funded by a budget of 134 million rubles from the three-level budget, includes a variety of modernisation work aimed at improving the school's infrastructure and accessibility.

The renovation will see the replacement of pavement tiles and asphalt, as well as the renewal of the gates and fencing. Of particular note, barrier-free access for individuals with mobility impairments will be installed, ensuring that the school is accessible to all.

Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin recently visited the site to oversee the construction work, demonstrating the city's commitment to the project. The modernized institution will operate on a client-centric principle, further enhancing the learning environment for its students.

In addition to School Gymnazia No.6, authorities plan to modernize 20 employment centres in Kuban by the end of 2025. An additional 351 million rubles from the allocated funds will be used to equip kindergartens and centres for additional education.

During the renovation, students of School Gymnazia No.6 will be temporarily relocated to another school to ensure their continued education is not disrupted.
