New Heerdter Quarter's first phase fully claimed by buyers
New Residential Quarter Quartier Vierzig549 in Heerdt Offers a Balance Between Urban Living and Nature
Quartier Vierzig549, a new residential quarter in Heerdt, is being redeveloped from a former Schiess machine tool factory site. Wohnkompanie NRW and Bauwens Development are the managing partners behind this exciting project, creating a news district in Heerdt.
The residential quarter aims to offer its future residents their own infrastructure and communal green spaces in direct proximity to housing. It is designed to accommodate both a lively, urban coexistence and a quiet, nature-oriented life.
In the second construction phase, all 300 apartments were sold before construction even began. The next step involves the preparation of 300 owner-occupied apartments in construction phases 4 and 5, which will go on sale in the summer.
Around 116,100 square meters are reserved for rental and owner-occupied apartments in Quartier Vierzig549. Additionally, approximately 4,000 square meters are planned for public green spaces, and 17,070 square meters will be used for a multi-story garage to accommodate public parking.
Quartier Vierzig549 will also include its own infrastructure and commercial facilities. Around 24,700 square meters are reserved for commercial use, including retail, medical practices, gastronomy, drugstores, pharmacies, and a kindergarten. Another 185 freehold and subsidized rental apartments, a daycare center with around 100 places, and a senior residence at Hansaallee are being built in the current construction phase.
The owner-occupied apartments in the new Heerdt residential quarter can be purchased at relatively affordable terms. Quartier Vierzig549 will also house a senior residence, a daycare center, and commercial facilities, ensuring a balanced, vibrant community.
