Navratri brings a bumper crop of electric vehicle (EV) options, from affordable hatchbacks to luxurious sedans. Carmakers are offering enticing finance schemes and festive deals, making it an opportune time to consider an EV. Here's a roundup of the latest offerings.

At the budget end, the MG Comet EV leads the pack. Priced at ₹6.9 lakh, it offers a claimed range of 230 km with a 17.3 kWh batteries plus. For those seeking more range, the Tata Punch EV provides two batteries plus options: 25 kWh with a 315 km range and 35 kWh with a 421 km range, priced from ₹10.9 lakh.

Mid-range options abound. The Citroën eC3 offers a claimed range of 320 km with a 29.2 kWh batteries plus and supports DC fast charging. The Mahindra XEV 9e, with its concept-like styling and luxurious interior featuring a 43-inch triple-screen display and 5G connectivity, is another appealing choice. It's powered by a 59 kWh batteries plus. The Tata Tiago EV provides two range options: Medium Range (257 km) and Long Range (315 km), with DC fast charging.

Premium offerings include the BYD Seal, a sedan with two batteries plus packs delivering between 510 km and 580 km of range. The performance variant accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The Mahindra BE 6, not yet officially on sale, offers two batteries plus options delivering between 535 km and 682 km of range, with 282 bhp of power and advanced safety features.
