Molson Coors Beverage Company has appointed Rahul Goyal as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Goyal, who has served in various executive roles at the company for 24 years, will assume the position on October 1, 2023. He will also join the company's Board of Directors. Gavin Hattersley will remain in an advisory role until the end of 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
Goyal's extensive experience at Molson Coors makes him a strong choice for the role. He has held global leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer in the UK and Chief Financial Officer in India. As Chief Strategy Officer, he expanded the company's portfolio and drove the 'beyond beer' ambition. Goyal has led successful partnerships with The Coca-Cola Company and Fever-Tree, and acquisitions of ZOA and Naked Life. He also managed commercial operations of Coors Distributing Company and played a key role in The Yuengling Company joint venture.
