Microsoft Ends Ads for Social Impact Grant Program in Late 2025

Microsoft has announced changes to its advertising and nonprofit support programs. From January 1, 2026, Microsoft 365 will no longer offer its Ads for Social Impact grant program for nonprofits. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Tech for Social Impact offerings, providing discounted tools, will continue.

The Ads for Social Impact grant program, launched to support nonprofit causes, will conclude on December 31, 2025. After this date, nonprofits must pause their campaigns by early January if funds are exhausted. Microsoft has not provided a specific end date for its Tech for Social Impact program, which offers discounted access to tools like Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365 to nonprofits.

The final grants under the Ads for Social Impact program will be issued on November 30, 2025. Nonprofits will have a 45-day window to spend these grants before the program's closure.
