Merholz joins the editorial board of Ippen Digital as a new member
Anne-Christine Merholz, a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in media, journalism, and politics, has joined Ippen Digital as a member of the Central Editorial Team.
Merholz, born in 1981, began her career with a traineeship at Axel Springer Academy from 2008 to 2010. After completing her studies in media science, journalism, and business administration, she moved on to work in strategic communication for the CSU in the Bundestag.
In 2022, Merholz made a significant move to Ippen Digital, leaving her role in strategic communication. Since then, she has been creating content for the IPPEN.MEDIA network, which includes online titles such as Merkur.de, FR.de, and Buzzfeed News Germany.
In her new role, Merholz has taken over the Agenda editorial team at Ippen Digital. The Agenda team is responsible for producing in-depth content, and Merholz's work will undoubtedly contribute to the network's high-quality journalism.
Before joining Ippen Digital, Merholz was also responsible for politics and economics at "Bild" until 2020. This experience will undoubtedly prove valuable in her current role, where she will be working alongside the Ippen Digital Central Editorial Team, which produces content for the IPPEN.MEDIA network.
Merholz's appointment to the editorial leadership team (Chefredaktion) of the Ippen Digital Central Editorial Team at Ippen-Media in Munich was announced in April 2025 and confirmed in newsletters through July 2025. This move solidifies her position within the central digital editorial leadership of Ippen Digital.
