Meituan's Keeta Expands to Dubai, Strengthening Middle East Presence
Meituan's international delivery brand Keeta continues its Middle Eastern expansion. After successful launches in Qatar and Kuwait, Keeta has now entered Dubai, marking its third market in the region.
Keeta's Dubai launch follows its debut in Qatar last August and Kuwait this September. This move further solidifies Meituan's presence in the Middle East, with Keeta now operating in three countries.
Keeta's growth in the region is notable for its support to delivery riders. The platform offers income support and training, contributing to the local economy. Meanwhile, it provides merchants with digital tools to boost their online presence and sales.
Keeta's success in Saudi Arabia, where it became a leading delivery platform after entering in September 2024 and expanding to over 20 cities, has encouraged Meituan to explore further overseas markets using Keeta.
With its Dubai launch, Keeta continues Meituan's strategy to deepen its presence in the Middle East. The platform aims to offer affordable delivery services to consumers in Kuwait, following its launch there on September 15, 2025. Keeta's growth in the region, supported by its rider and merchant-focused initiatives, positions Meituan for continued success in the international market.
