Lightstorm & DE-CIX Expand Partnership, Doubling DE-CIX India's Presence & Enhancing Services

Lightstorm and DE-CIX have expanded their partnership, doubling DE-CIX India's presence and offering enhanced services, including access to Microsoft Azure Peering Service (MAPS). This move strengthens DE-CIX India's position in the Indian internet sector and benefits Telecom Infra Project (TIP) members and network operators.

Lightstorm, a leading digital infrastructure provider, has added 17 DE-CIX-enabled data centers to its existing 17 independent data centers in India. This expansion doubles DE-CIX India's presence, empowering digital enterprises with utility-grade fiber and a leaf-spine mesh network architecture. The enhanced services under this partnership include customised interconnection services, improved security, and the capability to build private ecosystems.

Ivo Ivanov, CEO of DE-CIX, expressed delight in offering Lightstorm's customers direct access to DE-CIX India Internet Exchanges. This partnership allows customers of both companies to access DE-CIX's internet exchanges for extended network coverage and superior performance. Additionally, Lightstorm's NaaS platform, Polarin, integrates with DE-CIX's fabric in India for seamless customer connection to the exchange.
