Lender Folk2Folk designates a new relationship manager
Tracey Gott has joined the UK-based peer-to-peer lending platform Folk2Folk as the new Relationship Manager. With over three decades of experience in financial services, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge in commercial finance, SME lending, and stakeholder management to her new role.
Her career spans 18 years at Barclays and more than six years as a Senior Business Manager at a commercial brokerage. Tracey is CeMAP-qualified and is known for her practical mindset, attention to detail, and people-first approach. Her unique background, which includes experience in both broker and lender roles in the lending relationship, provides her with a valuable understanding of the needs of brokers, clients, and lenders.
Roy Warren, the managing director of Folk2Folk, values Tracey's unique perspective, stating that her energy and empathy have been beneficial to the team. However, the specific initiatives or projects that Tracey will be working on at Folk2Folk remain unclear.
Folk2Folk is a significant player in the UK peer-to-peer business lending market, having lent £780 million to date, primarily to SMEs with loans starting from £100,000. Tracey's role as Relationship Manager is part of Folk2Folk's national lending team, working to connect businesses with investors and facilitate lending.
Despite the lack of information about the size or scope of Folk2Folk or its operations, Tracey's appointment marks an exciting addition to the team, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a commitment to meeting the needs of all parties involved in the lending relationship.
