Lavand Expands Internationally in 2012, Targets Romania, Bulgaria, and More
Lavand, a women's fashion brand owned by Loco Time, is set to expand its international footprint in 2012. The company, founded in 1993, plans to open its own stores in Romania and Bulgaria, while also strengthening its presence in Latin America and other European markets. Lavand is no stranger to international growth. It is already present in Spain, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon. In 2011, the company opened six stores in Italy through a partnership with Coin. These stores are located in major cities such as Florence, Genoa, Rome, Naples, Vicenza, and Bari. Looking ahead, Lavand plans to open monobrand stores in Spain, Italy, Germany, and Belgium by mid-2012. The company is also targeting Brazil and Argentina for expansion in Latin America. These moves are part of Lavand's strategy to increase its international presence and reach new markets. Lavand's expansion plans come as Loco Time, its parent company, expects to close the 2011 financial year with sales of 22 million euros. With a strong export record of 85% in 2010, Lavand is well-positioned to continue its international growth. The company's focus on women's fashion and strategic market expansion is expected to drive its success in the coming years.
