Latgale SEZ Booms in 2025 With Record Job Creation and Investment

The Latgale Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is booming with activity. It's on track to sign the most investment agreements this year, with six new companies joining and creating hundreds of jobs near me. Let's delve into the details.

Last year, five new companies joined the Latgale SEZ, including Nexis Fibers Ltd., which invested around €50,000. This year, the zone has already welcomed six new companies, with more expected by the end of 2025. These new additions are set to create over 1,200 jobs, adding to the existing 700 planned new positions.

Since its establishment in 2017, the Latgale SEZ has seen significant growth. Currently, 38 capital companies are operating within the zone, and a total of 91 investment agreements worth over €106 million have been signed. This year alone, 12 contracts for investments of €5 million have been inked, creating around 40 new jobs near me.

The Latgale SEZ continues to attract businesses and investments, with 2025 shaping up to be a record year. The zone's growth is expected to bring significant economic benefits and jobs near me opportunities to the region.
