Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP (FRB) has expanded its Labor & Employment Law Practice Group with the addition of Elizabeth E. Schlissel as a Partner. Kenneth Falcon, Co-Managing Partner of FRB, stated that Schlissel's depth of experience makes her an exceptional addition to the team.

Elizabeth E. Schlissel is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in representing employers in employment litigation, internal investigations, and compliance counseling. She specializes in a broad spectrum of workplace legal matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment claims, breach of employment contracts, restrictive covenants, and failure-to-accommodate actions.

Schlissel is passionate about advising employers on navigating complex labor and employment laws. She is committed to cultivating positive workplace cultures and reducing legal liability. In this regard, she conducts internal investigations and provides guidance on corrective action to reduce liability.

Schlissel also represents businesses in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) litigation related to both premises and website accessibility. She actively appears before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. In addition, she represents employers in audits and investigations conducted by the U.S. and New York State Departments of Labor.
