Krasnodar Airport Expands Internationally with New Routes from Azimuth, Red Wings, Aeroflot, and Rossiya
Krasnodar Airport is expanding its international reach with several airlines expecting permits for new flight routes. Azimuth and Red Wings are among the carriers planning to add destinations to their networks, while Aeroflot and Rossiya airlines have also made requests for new international flights.
Azimuth is anticipating permits for flights to Astana, Dubai, Tashkent, and Tbilisi. Meanwhile, Krasnodar Airport recently faced flight delays due to a drone threat on September 24. Red Wings is expecting permits for flights from Krasnodar to Riyadh, three times a week.
The airport's schedule currently includes over 60 flights to 13 destinations, with six international destinations. Plans are in place to add Tel Aviv to this list soon. Flights to Egypt will operate twice a week using Boeing 737 aircraft. While specific prices for flights to Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, or other countries are not listed, average flight prices to Armenia from European cities like Vienna range from 143 to 247 euros. Travelers are advised to check dedicated flight comparison or travel booking websites for current offers from Krasnodar.
Aeroflot and Rossiya airlines have requested permits for flights to Istanbul and Dubai, seven times a week. This follows a broader request by Russian airlines for permits to operate international flights from Krasnodar Airport. Aeroflot is set to launch a flight program to Egypt for the first time, with flights to Sharm El Sheikh starting on October 8 and Hurghada on October 9.
The expansion of international flight routes from Krasnodar Airport is expected to boost tourism and connectivity in the region. With several airlines planning new destinations and increased frequencies, travelers will have more options for both leisure and business travel.
