From June 27 to July 13, 2022, road renovations will take place in several areas of Neuss, Germany, including Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, Friedrichstraße, and the intersection of Zollstraße, Michaelstraße, and Mühlenstraße. Access Restrictions

  • From July 8, Mühlenstraße will not be accessible from the direction of Zollstraße due to works by the city utilities. It can only be reached via Windmühlengasse.
  • During the second construction phase, traffic from Weingartstraße will be rerouted as a one-way street in the direction of Zollstraße at the construction site. Jülicher Straße in the direction of Zollstraße is closed, but turning right into Bergheimer Straße is possible.
  • From Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße, only left turns towards Zollstraße will be allowed. From Weingartstraße, only right turns onto Nordkanalallee will be allowed.
  • During the third construction phase, the intersection of Zoll-/Michael-/Mühlenstraße will be closed from July 11 to July 13.

Bus Route Adjustments

Several bus lines will be affected during the first and second construction phases. These include lines 843, 844, 848, 858, 864, 869, 870, 872, 873, and 877. Replacement stops will be set up on the routes, especially in the area of Friedrich-Ebert-Platz.

Delivery Changes

Delivery to commercial businesses is only possible by arrangement with the executing construction company until approximately 3 pm on June 29 and not at all on June 30. During the second construction phase, deliveries can only take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 5th and 6th July.
