Inditex Completes African Expansion with All Brands Now in Morocco Mall
Inditex, the parent company of popular fashion brands like Zara and Massimo Dutti, has completed its expansion into Morocco Mall, Casablanca. The Spanish retail giant has opened stores for all eight of its brands in the mall, marking a significant milestone in its African expansion.
Inditex's journey in Morocco began in 2012 with the opening of its Oysho store in Morocco Mall. Three years later, in 2014, the Uterque store followed suit. Now, all eight Inditex brands - Zara, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Zara Home, Uterque, and Oysho - have a presence in the mall.
Before this expansion, Inditex operated 14 stores in Morocco, excluding Oysho and Uterque. The company's entry into Morocco Mall is part of its strategic plan to tap into Africa's largest shopping center, further cementing its presence on the continent.
With the opening of its remaining brands in Morocco Mall, Inditex now offers a comprehensive shopping experience for customers in Casablanca. The mall, which also hosts other major retailers and luxury brands, has become a hub for international fashion and retail. Inditex's complete presence in Morocco Mall signals its commitment to the African market and its potential for future growth.
