The selection process is merit and interview-based, with no written examination. Shortlisting will be based on academic merit, particularly engineering marks. Successful candidates will then be called for a five-day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, consisting of two stages: initial screening through Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT), followed by psychological tests and Group Testing Officer (GTO) tasks. After clearing the SSB, candidates will undergo a thorough medical screening.
Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 56,000 per month during training, which is scheduled to commence in April 2026 at the OTA, Chennai. Upon successful completion of training, candidates can expect a salary of approximately 17-18 Lac per annum (excluding free medical cover and travel to home town once a year).

The application process involves registering on the website, filling out the online application form, uploading necessary documents, and submitting the application before the deadline.
