In a significant move, iHeartMedia has appointed Dan Lenz as the Market President for its operations in Milwaukee. Lenz, who has been with iHeartMedia since 2017, previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales and will now oversee all aspects of the market's operations, including sales, programming, and partnerships. He reports to Nick Gnau, Division President of iHeartMedia135.

Lenz's promotion follows the retirement of Jeff Tyler, the area president for iHeartMedia’s Milwaukee and Madison markets, who retired in June 2025 after a 47-year career in radio. Tyler had most recently held the leadership role in the Milwaukee market prior to Lenz’s appointment2.

Nick Gnau praised Lenz for his exceptional performance and deep understanding of the market, noting that his leadership was instrumental to iHeartMedia’s success in Milwaukee/Racine, the Nielsen-ranked 44th market. Lenz expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Milwaukee cluster, which includes multiple local and national radio brands135.

iHeartMedia owns and operates a variety of radio stations in Milwaukee, including classic hits 95.7 WRIT(FM), country 106.1 WMIL(FM), R&B 100.7 WKKV(FM), news/talk 1130 WISN(AM), sports 97.3 WRNW(FM) and sports 920 WOKY(AM). The company also runs the Green Bay Packer Radio Network13.

With Lenz at the helm, iHeartMedia's Milwaukee market is poised for continued success, building upon the strong foundation laid by Dan Lenz's work in the market since 2017.

In his new role as Market President, Dan Lenz will oversee the business operations of iHeartMedia's various radio stations, combining his media career with his background in finance and business. Aspiring professionals in the media industry might consider the various careers available within iHeartMedia's operations, now led by Lenz in Milwaukee.
