Hallesche Verkehrs-AG Announces Detours for Bus Line 24 Due to Road Renovations
Hallesche Verkehrs-AG (HAVAG) has announced that due to road renovation works, bus line 24 in Halle (Saale) will follow a detour from July 30 to August 22, 2025. During this period, the usual route is disrupted, so passengers should expect changes in stops and timing along the affected section.
From July 30 to August 10, 2025, Line 24 will detour from "Guldenstraße" or "Florian-Geyer-Platz" via Merseburger Straße, Rosengarten bus depot, and Industriestraße. The stops "Ellernstraße (A/B)", "Beesen (E)", "Alte Heerstraße (A/B)", and "Karl-Pilger-Straße (A/B) replacement stop" will not be served during this detour period.
Starting from August 11, 2025, a new detour for Line 24 will be introduced. The bus line will go towards Südstadt from "Florian-Geyer-Platz" via Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße to Karl-Pilger-Straße (in Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße) replacement stop, then via Rosengarten bus depot (D) and Industriestraße. The stops "Ellernstraße (A/B)", "Beesen (E)", "Alte Heerstraße (A/B)", and "Kurt-Wüsteneck-Straße (A/B)" will not be served during this detour from August 11 to 22, 2025.
Replacement stops will be set up on Georgi-Dimitroff-Straße before the intersection with Merseburger Straße (near Sparkasse, towards Osendorf), and at the exit of Kurt-Wüsteneck-Straße (towards Merseburger Straße) during the detour from August 11 to 22, 2025.
The detour for traffic will be via Industriestraße, Karlsruher Allee, Freyburger Straße, Weißenfelser Straße, and Alte Heerstraße. For traffic moving in the direction of Karlsruher Allee, the detour will be via Alte Heerstraße and Broihahnstraße. The street will be completely closed during the renovation.
The city will announce the date for the mobile construction traffic light setup. A mobile construction traffic light will be set up on Karlsruher Alle for asphalt installation for two to three days. An adapted detour variant for bus line 24 will be in effect from August 11, 2025.
