Google has quietly launched a new 'Labs' section within Google Ads, offering select advertisers early access to experimental tools and features. The section is currently accessible in specific accounts, appearing at the bottom of the left-hand menu.

The Labs section is Google's latest initiative to gather feedback and improve its advertising platform. It is currently in its pilot phase, with only a limited number of advertisers having access.

Among the early tests available in the Labs section is a feature called 'missed growth opportunities'. This tool helps advertisers identify potential improvements for their campaigns, providing actionable insights to enhance performance.

Vojtěch Audy, a researcher or developer, was the first to spot and report the update introducing the Labs section within Google Ads.

The Labs section within Google Ads is a work in progress, with more features and improvements expected in the coming months. Google is using this section to gather user feedback and refine its tools before wider release. Advertisers with access are encouraged to explore and provide feedback on the early-stage experiments.
